lessons from a student
In their third year of training, students work with so-called “probands” who have no previous Alexander Technique experience and are interested in a series of individual lessons (ideally once a week). The students’ lessons are considerably cheaper than the lessons with already certified teachers.
The internship comprises a total of ten hours, which are completed within an agreed period of time. The first, fifth and tenth lessons take place with an instructor and the student. You can change your mind after the first hour.
Optionally, the internship can also be extended beyond the 10 hours. The internship ends at the latest when the student graduates as an Alexander Technique teacher.
The special thing about this approach is that participants benefit from both the fresh perspective of a beginner’s mind and the experience of a long-time teacher.
Location:
The first, fifth, and tenth sessions usually take place with Jörg Aßhoff on Muskauer Strasse in Berlin-Kreuzberg, while the other sessions are held at locations organized by the students themselves.
Costs:
€ 65 with the teacher and the student, and € 35 /30 for a lesson with the student.
